Meet Ayanna
I am a native of Atlanta, and (at the risk of betraying my age) I graduated from High School sometime during the early 90s. Afterwards I continued my education at The University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy & Political Science, and later a Masters Degree in Public Administration. 10 long years later, I returned to the Atlanta area to pursue a 17 year long career in Public Service. Upon retirement I decided to embark on something entirely new – becoming an entrepreneur, while using my creative talents and life-long passion for aesthetics.
To me, beauty is pleasure. I believe that our home should be our most pleasurable space, above all others. Home should be a sanctuary, full of visual and physical comforts that delight us at every turn. My career afforded me the opportunity to travel extensively and experience the beauty and uniqueness of every corner of the world. This has flavored my world view and admiration for different cultures, design styles, and architecture. Because of my travels, I have a wide-ranging perspective and an appreciation for all styles of Interior Decorating. I enjoy creating from a blank canvas, but I am also able to create a “new look” using a bit of the “old.” I value originality and client collaboration; therefore, all of my designed spaces are truly distinct from one another. My approach is effervescent. I love what I do, and I am a great match for any one serious about working with a designer.
